Stars of Thursday are an energetic three-piece ensemble from Brisbane featured on Triple J Unearthed, Fete De La Musique, Tamworth Country Music Festival and The Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass festival.

They have released their initial EP with track "Drop My Pennies" reaching #11 on the Roots Charts for Triple J Unearthed and "I'm on Fire" being short-listed for the 2011 Queensland Music Award Finals in the Roots Category.

S.T.A.R.S have opened for Blues and Roots artists Marshall and The Fro and the country singer/songwriter sensation Melinda Schneider.

The band's debut video clip for lead track 'Drop My Pennies' is in postproduction and due out within the next month.
